If you are over 50 you don't need to be told that getting old is not fun. I've had that same experience myself. Last week I went to walk with my dog it just wasn't fun. I mean I heart all over, especially my legs. I was literally limping. Then I realized that about 30 minutes into my walk the pain slowly dissipated. What the...? That got me thinking hard and I decided to start doing my yoga workout every day again, or as close to it as possible, even if I had to do it at midnight, and see what happens. I was right. Yoga stretched and massaged my muscles to the point that the muscle pain disappeared.
I have a confession to make. A few months ago I reduced the number of my yoga workouts to once a week and then, since I was busy, to zero. Since I was fine for a while I didn't realize that I am making a mistake, but my body soon started to send me signals that something is wrong and here we are. I don't think I will make the same mistake again.
