Spinal Twist


  • Sit with straight legs in front of you.
  • Pull the left leg to the center and place the foot under the right leg almost to the buttock.
  • Bend the right leg at the knee and place the foot on the floor outside your left thigh. The right knee should point straight up.
  • Twist your upper body so that your left shoulder points at the right knee and right shoulder point to the back.
  • Place your left hand on the outside thigh of the right leg trying to grab the leg as low as possible.
  • The right arm either supports your body. This is the Half Spinal Twist. Stay in it for 5 seconds.
  • Repeat on other side.
